Lincoln FFA hosted an event for middle school students after school in Room 2 on October 18 to introduce them to FFA and Lincoln High School’s agricultural education program. Approximately 30 middle school students joined us and enjoyed some pizza with some of the members. The Middle School Outreach Committee and some chapter officers organized team bonding and fun games for our guests, like a game of Concentration, a scavenger hunt, and Politician. We are super excited for our next middle school event!
Our October meeting was in the theater at 6:30 p.m. We had a good turnout and we had cool decorations done by the activity’s committee. We had another practice run through the opening and closing ceremonies with our officer team with the lights off and with a flash light for the halloween theme. We had a mummy competition with multiple teams that had great mummies but only one could be the winner. Each committee stood up and told everyone what was going on with them and what they had going on. When all the dust had settled we adjourned the meeting and went out and enjoyed and awesome truck or treat. We had a lot of kids dress up in awesome costumes and even had a costume competition. When all the candy was gone we packed up and went home from what was a great meeting!
