The morning of the ceremony, the green hands participates dipped their hand in green dye and read the the first paragraph of the FFA creed. At lunch, they had to remember basic FFA questions in order to get signatures on their shirts from the officers and were rewarded pizza once they had all the officers signatures. At our afterschool November meeting, we held our had a good turn out and ran through the opening and closing smoothly. Went through new and old business and had our official greenhand ceremony, where the green hands finally received their degree pin. After it was all said and done, we feasted to a great pot luck.
Our October meeting was in the theater at 6:30 p.m. We had a good turnout and we had cool decorations done by the activity’s committee. We had another practice run through the opening and closing ceremonies with our officer team with the lights off and with a flash light for the halloween theme. We had a mummy competition with multiple teams that had great mummies but only one could be the winner. Each committee stood up and told everyone what was going on with them and what they had going on. When all the dust had settled we adjourned the meeting and went out and enjoyed and awesome truck or treat. We had a lot of kids dress up in awesome costumes and even had a costume competition. When all the candy was gone we packed up and went home from what was a great meeting!
